About The Flower Cart

Fresh floral designs and plants in Baltimore

The Flower Cart makes fresh floral designs, including custom sympathy arrangements and hand-tied bouquets. The company says it specializes in locally grown flowers when the season allows, while also bringing in flowers from beyond the area.

Its website names arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, get-well wishes and holidays, plus roses, plants and memorial pieces such as standing sprays and wreaths. It also lists designer's-choice bouquets and arrangements, so that may be useful when you want to give the florist some room to choose the flowers.

Before you head to The Flower Cart

The shop is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM. It is closed Sunday. The business says daily delivery is available across Baltimore City and nearby counties, and its website states that orders placed by noon can receive same-day delivery.

Reviewers often mention fresh, attractive arrangements and staff who help with specific requests. Several also describe last-minute orders and same-day delivery going smoothly, including arrangements for sympathy occasions and designer's-choice orders.

For an in-person stop, Saturday has the shortest window, so plan for the morning. If you need delivery that day, place the order by noon.

The first time I bought flowers for my girl friend and they were absolutely gorgeous and they lasted almost forever, longer than any flowers I bought in the past, Beautiful people couldn't say anything more that could add to my beautiful experience. So I decided to buy from them again and send my girlfriend into a tailspin this time.

I wanted the sympathy arrangement to look a specific way and Phyllis the designer executed my vision perfectly! It meant so much to me and my family that we were able to honor and pay tribute to the memory of our loved one. Thank you Flower Cart.

Normally I pick up flower bouquets at fancy grocery stores but I was looking for something specific (and at the last minute). None of my normal jaunts had what I wanted. So I visited the Flower Cart to see what they had (after having driven by it earlier in the week). They did not have what I was looking for. The very helpful florist let me know that as soon as I inquired. I wasn't about to visit another place so I perused what they did have. They had some loose flowers that I could've purchased separately and built my own bouquet or they had one, yes one, lonely bouquet already made.
