About Cafe Venue

Breakfast burritos and lunch in San Francisco

Cafe Venue makes the kind of morning food you grab on the way to the office. Its website names a bacon breakfast burrito, a veggie bagel sandwich and a classic breakfast sandwich. Lunch is on the menu too, with take-out and a roomy seating area if you'd rather sit.

The company describes its cooking as eclectic and homemade, with dressings and sweets made in its own kitchens. It says it is locally owned and buys from farmers' markets and local producers when it can. It also says it has been feeding the city since 1995.

There are two San Francisco locations. By the company's own account, the staff tend to learn regulars' names.

Catering is a big part of the business. The website lists office lunches, breakfast meetings and birthday parties among the events it handles. It says the menu can work around different tastes and dietary restrictions.

Before you head to Cafe Venue

It keeps office hours, open 7 am to 2 pm on weekdays and closed all weekend. It holds a 4.3 rating across 122 Google reviews.

If you're short on time, the company says you can order online for pickup and skip the line. That works well for a quick breakfast before work.

San Francisco gets 22.9 inches of precipitation a year and 0.0 inches of snow, per NOAA normals for 1991-2020. The city had 826,079 residents in 2025, per the Census Bureau, and makes up San Francisco County.

Since it shuts at 2 pm and stays closed Saturday and Sunday, plan on a weekday morning or an early lunch, not a weekend brunch.
