Fixing broken blinds right in your home is a big part of what Bloomin' Blinds of Rochester Hills does, alongside selling new ones. The company says it designs and installs custom shutters, drapery and shades, for houses and for businesses too. Its website describes repair as the go-to choice when it beats replacing.
The repair list is practical stuff: snapped lift cords, damaged slats, tilt mechanisms that quit working. The company says most repairs get finished on the first visit, at your place. It also names motorized shades and exterior awnings among its offerings.
The shop is part of a national brand, but the website describes each location as locally owned. The person who comes out for the consult measures, helps you pick materials and runs the install, the company says.
This is mostly an at-home business, so plan on someone coming to you. The company says the in-home consultation and estimate are free, and it lists a Window Visualizer tool for previewing options. Its website states that the local owner replies within one business day.
It's open Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays. The business holds a 5.0 rating across 520 Google reviews. Reviewers mention most an installer who shows up on time, answers questions patiently and works quickly. Several also like the lack of a hard sell, the cleanup afterward and having old blinds hauled away.
Rochester Hills, in Oakland County, had 77,539 residents in 2025, per the Census Bureau. NOAA normals for 1991 to 2020 put annual precipitation at 33.2 inches and snowfall at 44.8 inches.
If Saturday is your only free day, reach out early. The shop opens at 9 am that day and closes at 2 pm.

We had heard about Bloomin' Blinds through a local FB site, so we called them and scheduled an appointment. Mike showed up on time and after listening to what we had in mind, helped us find just what we wanted. There was no hard sell, just a willingness to help us find what would best meet our needs. The blinds arrived in the time frame he stated and installation was done quickly and professionally. They cleaned up after they were done and made sure to answer any questions we might have. I recommend Bloomin' Blinds for anyone looking for new blinds at a reasonable price.
Best experience I've had yet dealing with a vendor. The owner himself supervised the installation and his crew were friendly and efficient. Anyone needing blinds, I highly recommend Bloomin' Blinds of Rochester, Mi.
Nick was very polite, efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend Bloomin Blinds.
