Bloomin' Blinds of North Shore fixes broken blinds, shades and shutters right in your home, and it sells new ones too. The company describes its custom window treatments as built by top manufacturers, with shutters, draperies and shades all on offer. Its tagline adds screens to that mix.
The Bloomin' Blinds website says each location is run by a local owner, and that the owner is the one who comes out to measure and install. It names motorized and smart controls, exterior shades and awnings, and commercial work among its services. It also lists a free in-home consultation and a Window Visualizer tool to help you choose.
Deerfield had 19,642 residents in 2025, per the Census Bureau, and sits in Lake County. The town gets 38.2 inches of precipitation and 43.2 inches of snow a year, per NOAA normals for 1991 to 2020.
The shop keeps weekday hours, 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and it's closed on weekends. The company states that the local owner gets back to you within one business day. It also reports that most repairs wrap up on the first visit.
The company says financing gets talked over during the appointment, and that options vary by location. Worth asking about if you're redoing a whole house.
It holds a 5.0 rating from 197 Google reviews. Reviewers keep coming back to the owner's know-how, the way the pros and cons get laid out for each window, on-time arrivals and pricing that felt fair or came in lower than expected. Several also mention repairs that saved them from buying new.
Since it runs on a weekday-only schedule, get in touch early in the week if you want a consult or repair visit, so you're not stuck waiting through a closed weekend.
