You should never use bleach-based chemicals on your roof. They are safe for humans, but can cause allergies. If you decide to clean your roof yourself, you should use an ecofriendly cleaner. These chemicals can be harmful to animals and plants. These cleaners should not be used in homes that have exteriors. A cleaner made from biodegradable materials will last for longer. Choose an eco-friendly option if you are concerned about the impact on the environment of a chemical-based cleaner.

A bleach-based cleaning agent can also be used to clean your roof. This chemical can cause damage to plants and is extremely abrasive. It is best to use a milder solution, such as one designed for roof cleaning. You can also mix water and bleach. You can also dilute the solution with water if it is stronger. This will protect the shingles from any damage. This will allow you to save money.

Although pressure washing is an option for metal roofs it is not recommended for shingle roofs. It can damage the shingles. It can also cause damage to your roof.
